After signing on as a global ICC sponsor last year, Reliance Communications is now pumping moolah on-air. R-Comm has signed a one-year deal with ESPN-Star Sports in the range of Rs 30 crore. The deal will kick off with the ICC Champions Trophy starting September 11 in Pakistan. While Reliance Communications confirmed this long-term deal with ESPN-Star Sports, the sports broadcaster offered no comments. This deal would also include R-Comm's presence on the Barclays Premier League, Twenty20 World Cup next year, Formula One, three tennis grand slams and a whole lot of non-India cricket.
