dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 Yes, SPC solution has been found. But not ES*. So it can work only on Tata as on date. Inherently it is a WM phone with the inbuilt shortcomings also of the Windows Mobile Platform. I would suggest u go for the Palm OS based Treo 755p at a very economical price point of 11-12K and a very very fast Palm OS. Read my review and comparison with HTC Mogul in the Treo 755p topic. Yet another palm promoter does this have FMif anyone is importing this, i wud be interested be free to send me a PM No, palm OS AFAIK even do not support SDIO, so you can not put even external FM radio / WIFI
kshah 452 Report post Posted September 4, 2008 Contento.gif Sorprendido.gifYet another palm promoter GirandoOjos.gif joking, I must say, Palm is simply superb and very powerful OS. Stupid people stopped developing after 2003 so, not it lags behind on mainly 2 areas, i.e. browser and multi tasking. If you see performance of palm 5.4.9 with 312 Mhz CPU and 64 MB RAM, its atleast twice faster than WM 6 128 MB ram, 400 Mhz CPU. Practically you dont need stylus in treos. Imagine using WM without stylus, even if it has full keyboard.

dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted September 4, 2008 (edited) @nitin In 99% proper Smartphones, u will not get FM, its for (edited)... (except in the Chinese Junk) Then in FM phones, u wont get Wi-Fi. But u can use Internet Radio in all these smartphones... So choose accordingly... If Wi-Fi is very necessary ... go for Mogul Otherwise if Phone is first priority then Treo U must realise the choices are limited in CDMA due to wrong policy of our promoters (ADA) .... FM is a necessity coz i travel frequently and hate listening to stored music. i dont believe in ipod n stuff. i hv DAPO but browsing charges are too high as i found out in this forum. thou my company pays the bill, and i am not answerable as such, but still i dont want any fingers to be raised later. anyways since i wont get the 3 features combined in one phone , i will go in for fm + touchscreen. what say ???? dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted September 4, 2008 (edited) Go for a lower end phone then... not smartphone. There are many topics running in this forum for many FM phones, kindly search and post future posts there, not here.
