Net Speed Downloading

Hello, this is new member to rim web and also new customer to reliance prepaid connection.

So i taken new postpaid connection by purchasing reliance classic 23 (CDMA) two days back. it's cost was 1633+66(vat) +50(GSK)=1749 and also i recharged 999 for unlimited net accessing for one month

i connect net through this classic 23 using usb cable and to my pc through dial up software (connection name = CDMA_FWP_ZTE) so it's showing the speed of 230.4 kbps , so the problem is i am not getting the perfect downloading speed. so how can i increase the downloading speed and also i used all download manager softwares for fast downloading but the speed of download varies very lot. so how to download at constant speed.

What is the download speed that you are getting now? You can check it in the download manager once a file is downloaded (do not download or browse anything else at the same time).

230.4 kpbs is the maximum speed of the port of your modem device. It doesn't mean you are going to get that speed since it will be less than 144 kbps which is the maximum network speed and the actual speed is much lower like 75 - 100 kbps only.

use Internet download manager for downloading max. speed

and ur 230.4kbps speed is connecting speed which is not actual speed ur actual speed is 144kbps.

ur average speed will be 120-144kbps.
