Mac Is Crashing When Connecting

hi!

maybe somebody can help me out or give a suggestion. i use r-connect with

a lg rd2030 handset and a mac computer (panther 10.3.3).

i experience a kernel panic when i try to connect, this does not happen very

often but it is annoying since i have to restart my computer.

now since i dont believe that reliance would look into the problem, do you think

changing the handset to a samsung (which uses other drivers) would help

out?

anybody else experienced this type of problem?

otherwise my computer does not crash, it is just when click the connect buttom

that the computer crashes.

i would really appreciate your help,

what do you use to connect?

Im not sure if there is a reliance software to connect or have you used some other script???

i simply get the standard kernel panic message that i have to restart the computer, there is no output message. today i already got 2 kernel panics.

i use internet connect for connecting, it is the standard system software. i followed all the instructions from the web-site:

upgrade your OS and use Apple Sopftware update to download and update your USB Software. Then look for Mac connect ways at www.macandmobile.com

you need to communicate with people who USE macs day in and day out...

how good are you at the command line? Do you use Linux? Dont use the crap that is given away by reliance. If it can make the BSD kernel panic then it must be a really ****ty piece of hack that they have given to the MAC users. Search for Rconnect scripts for Linux online. You can have it setup and running with little or no modifications.
