Which Internet Provider To Choose?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am new to this forum. This is my first thread.I have Nokia 7610 with BSNL and GPRS is activated. But i don't get much speed which i require for my projects of web/wap site development. And i do web hosting also.I have broadband of BSNL also but i have 2.5GB free /month and night unlimited but problem is that its free from 2pm to 8am.....

So i want one more internet connection. In my society there are no cables of any other network.....I dont want bsnl unlimited plan. Its of 750rs and speed is poor. What is the broadband will be called which has too low speed...Leave it as it is.

I want one reliance GPRS enabled phone and internet unlimited plan.I have checked site. Its 303rupees unlimited. But today i went to Reliance Web World.they told me that minimum internet enabled handset will cost you 4000. :( .i felt very sad.

Now anyone can suggest me what should i do??Whether i should get BSNL WLL/or any other alternetive for internet please suggest me...........

Thanks

Ankit

My dear friend, you can try BSNL data card in your city. The speed of BSNL data card is really good and the unlimited tariffs too are less. I think its Rs.550/- per month for unlimited usage.

BSNL EVDO is not stable yet, but the CDMA 1x internet should be OK as a backup connection as you don't have any other providers in your area.

BSNL EVDO cards if available, you can expect average speed of about 500 kbps. It may not work atleast 2-3 hours a day even at 25 kbps. But you get unlimited at 550.

1X is OK, if you do not have much of upload and download requirments. Wireless, I am sure will be not be as good as wired connection.

I think we have discussed internet providers comparison recently elsewhere. Pls search the topics rather than duplicate posting...

Afterthought: go for Airtel...
