Connectivity Problem

Recommended Posts

I am in Delhi and there is this problem these days that some people can not get my number (both GSM and landline. The message they get is "the route is busy". Now this was not a problem with my previous handset( samsung b/w). Neither was it a problem in the first few days i got this new GTRAN phone. Now is this a handset related problem or network problem. I am able to make calls without any problems whatsoever.

Selecting Line #2 would disable outgoing calls too ...at least it does on my mobile.

I'v sometimes had people complaining about the same problem with my phone ...it seems to be an interconnectivity problem to me ...or network congestion. But here (Poona) I dont think RIM suffers from congestion ...esp. like BSNL and Idea (2nd worst in that respect). Besides CDMA networks obviously have higher capacity...

You should complain to helpdesk.

Tanveer, as far as I understand the probability of this being a network problem is quite high. However in a rare case it could be a handset prob as well .... We've also seen some GTRAN member in this forum complain about his network quality and we saw that it was with his specific handset. So i suggest you discuss this with RWORLD / Service centre guys.

Enabling Line#2 option only blocks outgoing calls. You continue to recieve incoming calls without any problem. So that is not the cause of the problem.
