raccoon 53 Report post Posted October 28, 2004 If saving batts is very imp. while phone is off (like if ur travelling), you should detach the battery from the phone body. If you do that, then the rate of discharge will be equal to the batt self discharge rate only. Its normal for a cell phone to consume a bit of power even while its switched off.
