Honest 836 Report post Posted September 11, 2008 Tata Sky introduces new pack at Rs 99 MUMBAI: With the entry of Reliance ADAG's Big TV, direct-to-home service providers are getting ready for price wars. Tata Sky has introduced a cheap ‘Super Hit Pack’ at a monthly subscription fee of Rs 99, offering 52 channels and some interactive services. Some of the channels that form part of the new base pack include Star Plus, Sony Entertainment, Sab, Star One, Max, Star Gold, Star News, India TV, Disney, Hungama TV, DD Sports among others. Zee channels and private sports broadcasters are absent in the pack. Additionally, Tata Sky has also introduced a grand festive offer for all new subscribers valid until 31 October. Subscribers can choose its connection inclusive of the digicomp, installation and 365 days of ‘Super Hit pack’ subscription for Rs 2999. Tata Sky chief marketing officer Vikram Mehra said, “Tata Sky has always been at the forefront of introducing valuable offers for its subscribers. ‘Super Hit Pack’ is exclusively available for all our subscribers across the country at a never before value of just Rs 99 making Satellite TV more affordable. ” Tata Sky is also offering the Lifestyle Gold (13 channels including 9X, NDTV Imagine, Colors, Zoom, NewsX, UTVi among others) and Education Gold (Cbeebies, Active Learning, Active Wizkids, Active Stories) packs free for an additional four months to those subscribers who purchase it directly through credit card or online.
