Ric Learning Center Gets Iso-9000 Certified

After conducting a certification audit on August 10-11, 2004, keeping in view all the eight quality principles, which are prerequisites for an ISO certification, BVQI has awarded the ISO-9001-2000 Quality Management System Certification to the RIC Learning Center for all the services mentioned under its scope of activities.

The audit revealed a high degree of structured system, established and practiced by the Learning Center.

BVQI also mentioned that it was awarding this certification for the first time to a Learning Center, which was unique. It is also the first time that the design and development of the course carried out by RIC Learning Center has been certified as meeting each and every specific details of the set standard (7.3). The forward plan that includes development of e-learning modules and on-line validation also impressed the auditors.

While discussing areas for improvement, the auditors have especially earmarked the scope for benchmarking the services being offered by the Learning Center to world-class organizations for future growth. “It is indeed an opportunity for us to

further improve our offerings, as we must set new standards of excellence to match with the world's best,” says Purushottam Thakre, Head, Network Training at RIC, DAKC, Navi Mumbai.
