dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 (edited) I have used Diamond (GSM) for 2 days now. In comparison to our Mogul it is half the overall size, feel and weight. The screen resolution is also double. But its so called Revolutionary Touch flow is nowhere as smooth as iphone. Though its GPS is much more faster. I loaded our Destinator on it and it worked absolutely smoothly. Opera is also very good (same on Mogul). But Battery Life is pathetic (its 900maH), doesnt even last 1 day. And no removable storage, only 4 gb internal (so inconvenient). And no dual camera as shown on its US website. No Flash. And I dont see paying double for it in comparison with our Mogul. MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL... Edited September 21, 2008 by dkaile

HetalDP 947 Report post Posted September 22, 2008 Victor have 1300 mah Battery Compared to GSM. But anyway as i Said earlier it have more Pixel but the Same Size of Screen so can not use with Thumb or Fingers. HTC Touch HD have Bigger Screen so its Definitely more like iPhone Counter product. Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted September 22, 2008 then lets wait till diwali n see how big a hole it drills in our pockets well it is understood that they shud drop d prices of lg voyager considering d lack of features it has also as far as diamond goes...guys i had tried myfrends htc diamnond for 2 weeks and these were my impreseeions 1.the biggest usp of this device is its reolution..640*480 on a 2.8 screen so now imagine how crisp it wud b .watchin movies is a treat on this device but i wish they wud had put atleast a 3"screent(htc HD with 3.8" WVGA SCREEN d baap of all ppcs in terms of hardware) .the device loooks very sleek n beautful.it got me a lot of attention when i had i 2.the so calld touch flo 3d(tfl3d as it is known)was not up to the mark.it was laggy n sluggish ..but i wud expect that from a winmo device. 3.after i installed custom roms from xda d device start performin nicely atleast thf3d improved 4.dont expect iphone type responsive touch screen as both devices are based ondifferent technologies.diamond uses pressure sensitive screen (although it is calibrated to match d responsiveness of a capacitance scren but still ). 4 altough for basic functions u wud not require stylus (tfl3d)takes care of it. 5.atleast in gsm d biggest problem was battery but i hope cdma variant cums wid 1300mah the gps was fine it uses egps so it was fast .but comparable to my n95 with agps 6.overall i did like d looks and all but in case of functionality it kept me wanting for more .atleast my case i wud rather go for htc pro or d htc HD(definatley gettin dis one). but then again lets c if v cud get htc pro up n running on our networks either officially by relinace or by our saviur sadikk and rim geniuses in our forum
@mitJ@in 256 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 then lets wait till diwali n see how big a hole it drills in our pockets I think Price has been slashed for HTC Touch Diamond CDMA P3051. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 I dont think it is worth investing 31K in Reliance locked owned handset; I made the mistake once when I invested 33K on 6700 and got no support whatsoever. Had it not been for this forum I would have been stranded...

HetalDP 947 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 I don't think Reliance will come up with EVDO Anil will take HSDPA along with GSM Network and then after some year he will advocate Government to Switch allotted CDMA Spectrum into EVDO Upgradation.

nawalsingal 1 Report post Posted November 15, 2008 i am getting HTC Touch d'mond (CDMA for reliance) with bill & warranty for Rs. 31k. should i go for this or wait till sadik bhai with his team is able to crack that for reliance?
Arun 795 Report post Posted November 15, 2008 If you are looking to use EVDO when 3G is available after a few months then get it from Reliance itself as you won't be able to use it on a "cracked" handset.
