Honest 836 Report post Posted September 27, 2008 ^^^ My dear friend, their's no Vista drivers available for LG 2030. Still you can use it with Vista. Just install the Xp drivers on your computer in compatibility mode of Windows Xp SP2. Right click the *.exe file (Setup File), select properties, click "Compatibility", Click "Run this programme in compatibility mode of Windows XP SP2", then select "Run as Administrator". Thats it. You will be able to use Xp drivers in Vista. Simple. Regards.

Honest 836 Report post Posted September 29, 2008 ^^^ My dear friend, as you said it worked but as soon you try to connect the laptop hangs, that means their could be an issue of Com Port. Try installing on Com2. Also tell which edition of Vista are you using. Regards.

saadgen 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Will try that also hope i get it First you have to use serial cable for LG 2030 The go to control panel and phoneandmodem options and select add modem then click on not to detect click next and you will get a list of modems Among these choose Standard 28000bps modem and add it on com port 1 and test if phone is able to communicate IF success seen then create your network connection and connect using this Now you will get connect in vista using LG RD2030 Enjoy
::Hitesh:: 1,763 Report post Posted October 11, 2009 This problem is not with your core 2 duo CPU, Just require some configuration in vista. Step 1:- if you all drivers are installed check the modem diagnostics, right click on MY COMPUTER Click on Manage Go to Device manager In that, under Modems you can see a modem installed by LG drivers(or you may have installed it manually) Double click the listed modem under modems, modem properties will open, In properties click on diagnostic tab, above ok button you will find Query Modem button, click that button, and see the result, All commands will come not supported, only one will be successful, If this comes that means your LG 2030's modem is configured and working . Also one more extra setting is required. Next to diagnostic tab Advance tab is located open it, There you will find place for extra initialization command type following command in it at+cta=30 then try to connect. If not solved add me to gtalk or yahoo, i will assist you online, PM me for address if you can not find. And yes still LG 2030 are working, my first RIM number is alive in it.
