Unable To Write Songs

Guys I have got nero version 8 and am unable to write the songs to my CD. I am writing on Sony CD-r 700 mb or mosear bear cd. but still unable to do so. I am sending you the screenshots. I am receiving this error message "The disc is not writable. Please insert a writable disc."

Probably the CD is not blank. If you are 100% sure that it is blank, then download, Install and run this utility:

http://www.dvdinfopro.com/download/dvdinfo.zip

Then post a screenshot of what details it shows about your drive and disk. It will show details like this: http://www.dvdinfopro.com/images/mainwindowbig.jpg

Why selecting image recorder (3rd screenshot). Select the writer from the drop down list.

I did that but it didnt showed as writer.

Ok i too have faced the same with Nero a couple of times. Restarting the pc or the software always lists the writer. Have u tried any other cd burning softwares? One which i would recommend is Ashampoo Burning Studio..
