Nilesh Firstly sorry to know that you have lose the mobile Yes you can get the same Number (retained ) but for this you will have to go to the nearest Web World and if you have good relations with them you can buy a new handset from them and they will transfer the number for yyou Leagly you need to make a Police Complaint of the same and then you can get your number transfered. but any ways for this process to take place it takes nearabout 2-3 working days Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
situ1962 21 Report post Posted October 16, 2008 In march 2007 someone stole my lg6330 fren my shirt pocket while i was in vegetable market and immediately i lodged an FIR with the police and also got the number blocked by calling customer care and submitted the FIR copy at the webworld.the next day i bought the nokia6275 and the web world people got my number transferee to the new phone within minutes.so i went phone less only for a day.better file an FIR.why not be legally correct?the chamber are remove,but one can never tell,some day you may get your mobile back. Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted October 16, 2008 well bro sorry to hear this .............well as said earlier u could get ur same number activated just go to web world well as far as the phone goes just 4get it.......if someone is kind enough to find it n return it to you or else no1 is goin to return it back.....i have lost two of my high end phones n never got them back ( just two days back in the gym i found someones n82 lying around all i did was call on his home number n return the phone to him....though i was never this lucky in my case ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Some person living just in next galli has picked it up, and he called me and asked me to take it. I haven't found any such valuable thing, but whenever I get a chance, I'll surely do the same. He did the same thing mentioned above, called his home number. He immediately came and thanked my dad and picked his phone up. Next day as a nice gesture he also sent a box of chocolates. Unfortunately like many others my sister has lost several phones, one of them got flicked from the car when she was waiting on a red light. None were recovered.
