Google Map Not Working On Nokia E71

Hi Friends,

I recently Purchased Nokia E71.It Works On Airtel Prepaid.I use Airtel's NOP For GPRS.

But I am not able to Connect To Google Maps though Opera Mini and Default Browser WEB works fine.

On running Google It Gives Error Network Not Available(Error -34,Error 403)

Techies Please Help

Follow this procedure

1. Open default browser and go to any web page.

2. Open google maps.

Opera will never work on NOP and opera uses proxy server and sockets, which are blocked by airtel.

Thanks for advice but it does not works.

I also talked to sadik and ashok soft regarding this problem and also talked with AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE,but does not get any solution.

Later I changed My GPRS Plan from NOP To MO and it worked perfectly.Thanks

well long timeback i had read somewhere that on s40 phones this problem was solved using a java application which helps u to edit your access point settings and by putting in the described settings all these applications ( google maps,gtalk,gmail,opera) were working fine

now for s60 i dont know exactly the workaround as i m using vodafone which doesnt have any such problem....even with basic gprs these applications work fine.....

if there is a proper solution for s60 lemme know

Access point can be edited in s60. No need of additional apps.

Nokia maps on my device has worked on NOP too. Now I use mo

airtel doesnt allow u to use data intensive applications when u r on a basic gprs plan
