Bablus 66 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Need Help Am yet to get completely accustomed to the phone.. However, right now am struggling to sync my Outlook 2007 with the phone. The HotSync says its not compatible with Outlook 2007... Am not sure, if this query is already answered? Please guide me on this Also, I am palm os does not allow multi tasking, however, I am not figure out how to reach to home or wallpaper... as in no application running.. chintan1 6 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 lightwave is an excellent software but my system crashed while using it....could not receive calls.. i think phone technician is a better bet...its stable and works good....but i miss the full screen caller id feature of lighwave.... this application is very heavy on resources as the dynamic heap memory is less thats y there r some issues not only with this but some other astraware games as well i m using UDMH which incraeses your heap memory ......so far havent had any crashes with lightwav Hi Doc shaeb , whts dis UDMH ?? can u pls share d knowledge about it & also way to increase heap memory ..... dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 @akalmand I am using Outlook 2002, no probs at all. There should not be any problem with 2007 also. Maybe u need to download Vista Drivers from Palm Website to use it in Vista and Outlook 2007. Try that... for ur second part of ur question read Post 355 Page 24; Thats the beauty of this Palm OS that there is no need for back button. Dial ##data# (##3282#) and u will come on data main screen. You will have to click modify and enter your SPC (u should have changed it to 000000 otherwise enter your correct spc) and u will have to change the parameters. After unlocking, enter username - (anything u like-preferably your name without spaces), then enter password (anything), HA password (anything), ensure IP address is automatic (ticked),. Then go to next menu by pressing the Menu Button (Lowest in Right Corner), the go to Browser - enter one "0"(Zero) in port in both Pri NGG and Sec NGG, then go to Advance, Unlock, then enter as follows: Vocoder EVRC:1, Home NID:65535, Home SID: 14655, MCC: 404, MNC: 0, ACCOLC: (should be last digit of your MIN), Home Sys Reg:1, FNID:1, FSID:1 - Click OK. Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 @gary bro who have confugured your phone /whom did u get it from ......did u see the screen shots i posted .... @akalmand i have snced my palm with outlook 2007 n it works fine no probs but if u have troubles then u can use AGENDUS . download it from HERE it wil give u a demo code and a demo copy and then register with the solution .... attaching the same ......also as far as multitasking goes it has been discussed here lot of times traditionally palm lacks multitasking/mutithreading........if u go from one application to another the previous aplication wil close by default.......however ptunes/mail/ work in the background.......but with certain third parties u can get some basic multithreading.......read the previuos few pages i have posted some applications regarding the same @chetan udmh is unlimited dynamic memoryhack ..........it simply extends your heap memory so u can run those high memory ( more than 3/4mb) demanding games and applications UDMH.zip AGENDUS_SOLUTION.rar Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Since most parameters are changeable from the phone itself and are as suggested, is there anything particular parameter that I need to change? I believe could change the PRL, but if the PRL is not ok, guess the phone should not work. Since everything else is working fine, some parameter is either showing Sprint as home network making Reliance believe it has a roaming phone or vice versa, but you may be right it will be in the CDMA updater, so I should reflash it.
