Dude i need a ltl help frm u... installed card reader and when i start it it shows the card and 3 options etc... and then ENABLE now when i clik enable... i dnt know but i guess the prog runs... shows reading reading..... thats it...NOW wat?? i mean what do i do next... if i press some other buttons on phone it shows RU sure u wana disconnect... Disconniectin mgt cause data corruption.... How do i copy mp3 files in here??? or creat another folder as music files ( as u askd me to do in last post) If you could kindly guide me through it... it wld be a great help.............. My problem is that, if I lower the volume using side keys, when I enter the office, the alerts and SMS are still at the higher volume. So it is time consuming to switch back and forth every time I have set all the volumes at a lower level. Is there a way to do this en masse? Check Escalate Ring Tone Volume if you want ringing to start softly and then get louder, or vibrate and then ring option.... Learn to Live with Treo.... Dude do you have a Kg for Helfire??? Since morning my hot sync is geting hanged so each time i have to do it via palm safe sync... it starts with hot sync and aft few sec it gets hanged on a perticular file which says sync addi... dnt know why.... but with Safe Sync it goes fine.... do let me knwo if u have a kg for helfire... I wanted to know... i have stored majority of applicatoins on my phone memory... now since the card is working fine.. id like to transfer applications like games and others on to the card... is there a way to do it directly frm palm??? if yes how.. nd if not then how do i do it?? do i need to re install all the applicatoins??? A good benchmark would be load One software at a time, use it it for 2-4 days without problem, and then load another; if the software gives you any typr of problem or hot sync problem in those 2-4 days, uninstall and then forget about it... Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 i cant undetsand one thing when u have a slot for memory card and when u have a memory card y so u have to install applications on phone meMory except for those which required to b installed in phone memory install that other wise all games and everything go in memory card bro palm is a very stable os its not like win mo that u load more third party and ur phone gets bad. i guess thats simply becoz the way palm os was designed......the applications run directly like exe.unlike other os where the file has lot of extensions which has to b intsalled in the different directories on phone ......its a goldn rule for any phone is to try n install the applicaions in memory card.... i have more than 60 70 apps on my palm all loaded on my memory card (except a few) and believ me my phone had never had any resets or no hard sync issues .....and i have around 46 mb free on my phone memory.........DONT INSTALL GAMES AND OTHER APPS IN PHONE MEMORY all my phoens have loads and loads of s/ws but i have never experienced any issues with nay ofthe phone s.....i just follow one rule install as much as possible in memory card and keep phone memory free.....
