But earlier someone mentioned that the cost is only $15

About customs duty AFAIK, you need not incur anything

@Vipul,

Replied to all ur pms..

The link you sent seems fine, post it here to for a second opinion..

As dr. said, there would be no custom duty.

If the earlier link is not working, search for Kr-Net (seller)

Let me know if you need more help..

My troe is a little jinxed..

First the screen.. then the ringer (still does not work all right) and now the Vibration..

The vibration function has stopped functioning after 'the treo had a great fall'

I agree, I am not handling it well, but honestly it is very far from the sturdiness of Nokia..

Even if my phone casually gets small push, the memory card reloads, temporarily jamming the operations..

Also, I had posted earlier, I have not installed any new apps, and still the processing is getting slower and slower..

Phone memory has enough space.. most apps that I have (Butler and Technician, nothing used frequently) are installed on memory card..

yup nokia phones are quite sturdy ....but one thing i have learned from using so many phones is that the l touchscreen phones are never sturdy ...u shud be careful while handling them ...one fall and high chances of screen getting cracked ..

the problem of nokia phones is that except for e series their phones are cheaply built ...they might be sturdy but their built quality is inferior to that of palm phones

If u have the BT dongle then PM dkaile, he got the link for the procedure

or else try googling

And always try to do something by own rather than asking others, it will help u a lot in future

I am not able to hotsync treo with my desktop.

I run windows xp x64 SP2.

whenever i try hotsyncing, it gives me following error:

"The connection between your handheld desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."

am i missing something ??

All i have done is, installed hotsync manager 6.2

connected treo to pc using usb cable.

and pressed hotsync button on the usb cable.

Article below says that synchronization using usb cable is not possible in x64 OS.

Dear Monji, if Heera Panna is too far from your place then alternatively you can try ANUPAM STORES in Goregaon (East) or Borivali (West).
