NO, Will work as it is So you see it is a risky business to upgrade your phone model, as support is non existent and risk is all yours.... but if you are willing to take it, I think it can be done... dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted November 8, 2008 The detailed procedure of loading sprint ORIGINAL rom for Mogul, I have detailed here- http://www.rimweb.in/forums/index.php?show...15023&st=85 The procedure for Telus rom on S720 should be exactly the same, only thing you will have to download and load Telus rom instead of Sprint rom in that step... (Also Read the steps given by Telus on HTC website) JUST REMEMBER - Not to LET TELUS CUTOMISATIONS RUN, because that can change reliance.prl but not to worry, that also can be reloaded as per steps given in my topic... Also before hand get the SPC of your phone and check whether you can access EPST programming by ##778#; if you can then you can edit most of the settings at later stage. Run GetSPC.exe from Cracking6800 folder (link given in that topic) WARNING: TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.... But I am sure you will be successfull... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 You will first have to unlock it with some unlocker...search on PPCGeeks....like we use Olipro on our Mogul or Cocoman on Touch...Only after unlocking can it be used with other operators upgrade... Read the dummies guide of 6800, that will give u a fair idea how to proceed with S720...procedure will be similar but only the unlocker and software will be different... dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 I have just searched on PPC Geeks and am sorry to inform you that till date there is NO unlocker for HTC Libra (aka smt5800, s720); That makes your job quite impossible right now... wait and keep track at PPCGeeks and very soon you may find one.... or search newer sites for the unlocker...
