Reliance WebWorld, the world's largest network of public access broadband centres, has announced a special offer on the eve of Rakshabandhan. This offer enables brothers and sisters located in different cities across the country to videoconference on August 29 and 30, 2004. The video conferencing facilities can be booked at a very affordable rate of Rs 375 for a 15-minute session in any of the 97 Reliance WebWorlds in 21 cities. These WebWorlds equipped with Broadband Video conferencing facility enables siblings at the other end to join the video conference from their city at a specified time, free of cost.

The facility is available in cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Erode, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Surat, Vijayawada and Vizag. Bookings for the special Rakshabandhan offer can be made at seven WebWorlds in Mumbai located at Fort, Heera Panna Market, Dhobitalao, Sion, Shivaji Park, Juhu and Khar. The bookings will be accepted on first-cum-first-serve basis.

Reliance WebWorld in association with R World has also organised a special contest for Reliance IndiaMobile users and the winners will get an absolutely free 15-minute video conferencing session under the 'Rakshabandhan offer'. RIM users can participate in the contest by logging on to the 'Contest' feature on 'Rakhi' application available under 'New Arrivals' of the R World suite of data applications.
