Bad Quality Of Services Of Reliance

Recommended Posts

I bought a reliance datacard on last friday, its a ZTE MG880 card.

My number got activated on saturday and till now i am not able to browse net.

Every time i try to connect it throws a error i.e. " username doesn't exist on server and password has expired"

I contacted the Customer care of reliance for this, These people are saying that this error is not there in the list which is

given to them. As per them all the facilities are enabled from back end but they don't know what the problem is?

Is it the quality of services which reliance provides to their customers?

When i wrote a mail to customer care they said that it will take atleast 4-5 to reslove it.

I am not able to understand, does a problem really takes 4-5 days to get rectified.

Is it the services which reliance is providing to their customers? If yes then it is ridiculous.

If a person shows trust on reliance connection, why these people want to realize to that person that he/she has done some mistake by taking Reliance connection.

Worst part is, the dealer from whom i have taken this connection is saying 'they dont know what is the problem there in the card, there responsibilty is to sell the card. they are not bothered whether its working or not?

Please suggest me what should i do?

I got the same story. Two weeks ago I bought a zte 880 modem, and since that time I managed to connect to the internet only 3 times. Attached are the log-files of my connection (successful and unsuccessful). Today I went to the Reliance office in Ooty, they tried connecting with my modem on their IBM computer and got the same 691 error. Then, from their office, I had a tough phone conversation with a technical specialist from customer care, who reset my settings on server site, insisted that I should wait for three hours for this settings to take effect, and try connecting in three hours. I did what he said and got the same errors.

Yesterday I sent a letter to the Reliance customer service for blackberry devices (the only email address I managed to find) - no answers yet. I guess, their technical specialists can't offer any help. What are foreigners rights in India? Being a foreigner, what can I do now? What are the suggestions? Can I claim a refund and money-back?

Why have you sent the complaint email to Blackberry's customer care?

You can send it to: corporatecentre.customercare (at) relianceada.com and keep a CC to: Chairmans.Office.Customer-Care (at) relianceada.com

Replace (at) with @

A refund or a money back is too much to ask for when you are dealing with Reliance! However if you are successful to claim that the issue was at their side, they may give a waiver for the rental for those days.

Nothing much.

First check what are you entering as Username and Password!

It should be the MDN without 0

If it is correct then call customer care and tell them there number

and directly say them to refresh the data services.

Then will do this.

Then the data services will be re provisioned to your MDN and your data card will start working.

And for waiver you should talk with the Web World or Web World Express from where did you purchase the data card, if you could explain the prob to them, for sure you will get waivers for the days your were not able to use it.

Have you seen the attached log files? Yesterday they have refreshed everything and I still get the same problem. I am not that stupid to put this prefix zero. I hate when these techsupport guys, instead of fixing the problem, still continue asking me to do what I can do without their help. Can anyone in Reliance (or anyone else) explain to me, why do they need to refresh their settings? Why doesn't it work without this procedure?

What is the explanation that I still managed to connect to their network three times during these weeks?

Why the tech-support insisted yesterday on talking to me, while the same was just explained by the reliance world guy? Once again, this reliance world guy attached my ZTE modem to his computer and tried connecting - with persisting failure. He dialed tech support and explained everything to tech support, but tech support did not want to listen to him, preferring torturing me. Why is that?
