It sports the fastest CPU in the class - the 800 MHz Marvell TavorP and comes with the company's latest touch-driven interface - the Glide. In addition it brings in quite a number of multimedia features, adding up to quite a powerful package. it comes with a 2.8" VGA screen and features tri-band (900/1800/1900) GSM/GPRS/EDGE support. It also has 3G with HSDPA and Wi-Fi to ensure the faster data transfers where the infrastructure allows it. The fully touchscreen-operated Asus P565 also sports GPS, microSD card slot and a 3MP auto focus camera. The usual suspects - Bluetooth v2.0 and USB are also on-board. There is 128MB of RAM to deal with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS needs. Unfortunately, there is no information about the availability or the pricing of Asus P565 yet. KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted November 18, 2008 ^^^ Take the GSM plunge now (kalpak and hetal and a lot of other RIMwebians have already done it.) No use crying about it or envying the GSM brethren. Convert your existing number if you want it that badly to LT prepaid for incoming only. And invest in GSM goodies and flaunt it. I think most of us on RW have atleast one GSM connection alongside the RCOM ones. But GSM is a little bit more expensive than RCOM always. So the choice is yours to take. It had one of the fastest processors around at its time... The interface was amazingly lightning..the only thing missin was a 2mp cam..
