lostjournal 7 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 HI all, After staying for almost all my life with CDMA, finally I want to move to GSM. I want to avail good data services which currently no CDMA player is giving. I am planning to make use of EDGE network of airtel and I will be getting this for Rs. 1500 for a year( unlimited). I have tested this and was pretty impressed. Later on 3G. Now I have done a lot of research and found out that E71 is best available option. The price tag of 19.6K is worth the penny. I want suggestions from you all. Can any other 3g phone match the features available with E71 around the same price tag? Also if someone can let me know when E63 will be available in India and at what price tag, i would be grateful? Browsing, exchange server support, IM support, You tube on the go, is all I am looking. GPS, Camera is not the priority. However it is welcome. Iphone, Omnia, Xperia , HTC touch diamond, pro - I dont have the budget. Please help me choosing the phone. Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 same here go for nokia e71 great value for money phone...... even nokia n82 is good enough but i m not satisfied with its build quality.....though it has gr8 camera capabilities.....if camera is not ur priority e71 is awesome phone with gr8 built also the thinnest smartphone available in market ..... even e66 is good enough but no qwerty e63 shud b around 14-15 k when it is available but it is thicker and looks plasticy as compared to e71 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

So felt its justifiable. Difficult to separate myself from reliance though. For some reasons - its quite addictive. Anyways today nokia launched two more colors for E71 in the europian market. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 I use Rel MobileWorld to surf at my will through my phone @10p/10Kb (till we last know, latest rates and service - presently fluid and under dispute) and for my laptop (if needed in emergency or on the move) I use Rconnect @60p/minute.... Go to ur local market and search for used 2G Iphone will come around 15k. and join the league. Iphone is one device everyone should try once in a life time He/She wont regret for it. Communicator style - means better battery life. Also in this smartphones category, the quality of LG is suspect.... They specialise best in entry level phones... Would be better to stick to Nokia or HTC.... Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 well i have been following this phone since it was announced by LG at MWC in feb..... frankly speaking e90 is a better choice over this...the outer screen is a joke and also no wifi for a smartphone and only 950mah battery...but it has gps ( agps) also it is s60 phone but many apps wont work on this simply coz most of the apps r made for nokia s60 phones ...though u will get the basic appps e90/e71 is anyday better over this ..... i personally wud prefer e71 as e90 has quality and keyboard issues ....and also candy bar form factor is anyday better over moving and slding counterparts Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
