kshah 452 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 I have great reservations against LG. However, there is no point in eliminating any manufacturers from considerations. I too was surprised note lack of WIfI on business phone. BTW arent all symbian phone apps are inter compatible?
Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 no only half are intercompatible ....thats coz of some certificate restrictions by nokia....obviuosly why wud nokia want its apps to work on samsung and lg devices ... but with the advent of samsung and LG s60 phones now developers r also releasing apps which support these phones as well ....and by the day the number of such apps r increasing
lostjournal 7 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 ^^^^E71, right now is one of the best phones you can get in GSM, except of course E90... only thing is that the keys are too small for us Indians (maybe designed for Japs) Whats the price of E71 Price: INR 20,150 In Trivandrum, I tried every place. The price quoted to me are as under: Nokia priority Dealer: 21,500 ( includes a bluetooth headset in the pack) Subiksha - no stocks ( in the 3 stores i checked, Price 19,799) Mobile Store - 19,959 (1.25% extra on CC, ) Univercell - 20500 Big Bazaar - 20,200 ( I bought it here) They gave an LG Bullet 288 for free ( Price around 1400). I asked them to rather give me a discount of half the value. They did not agree. I got some 8 lucky draw coupons and a scratch card which yielded another 50 bucks discount. I am sure its a bit costly but could not help it. In the end, I am really happy. PS: Camera quality is pretty average for still imaging. Videos are fine. And rest all rocks, be it GPS, WLAN, EDGE. pasumark 51 Report post Posted December 17, 2008 I also feel you have made the right choice by buying E71. I am using E51 for past 1 year and extremely satisfied. With E71 you would be doubly satisfied. A few bucks more is really never a issue. Enjoy
