jayant 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 Mind you peeps multiple cliking with same ip could result in these ads disappearing from the board because each time u clik on that ad ur ip is stored in the database and is cheked if it is uniwue or not and if same ip's are found often then it is considered as the violation of the agreement so If ya peeps really want to help then don't make multiple cliks with same ip. Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 Why do I get: No refering URL, clicks are not recorded without being linked correctly from a HTML pageYou will be redirected to the site in 5 seconds or to enter site now click here ??? I tried clicking the bottom and top banner Both worked perfect for me! This message is shown when u try to browse the link of that banner rather than clicking it from RIMweb.com OR maybe you clicked once and the page dint not load Then u clicked refresh and the browser opens the link without submitting the referrer link As it uses referring (Source from where u clicked).. If there is no referrer it will display this message
Azhaga 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 My recommendation is A click a day for DSL or leased line users A click on every time u log in to the n/w via dial up line Also i think for dsl users , if u disconnect and reconnect , u will be assigned with a diff ip , in this case u can click to... but i think baazee uses cookie technology to record clicks ... so whenever u click there should be something to track than an IP any one in advertising field? karpar 1 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I use two firewalls!
Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I use two firewalls! I dont think your firewall interferes in these matters
karpar 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 Oh yes it does Ashok. I tried juggling with it and found that NIS was the problem creator(as far as this issue is concerned!). ZAPRO didn't have any problem with it... The essence is, the ad works if I disable NIS.
v4victory 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 Arun today i clicked on baazee link from my LG RD2030 R-surf browser will that click be counted as the unique click and make u rich by Rs.1.50. enquire about it let me know?

ZAPRO didn't have any problem with it... The essence is, the ad works if I disable NIS. Firewalls dont block ads. But some firewalls come with integrated Ad-Blockers.. And so does Norton Internet Security (NIS).. Disable the AD Blocker.. i guess there is an option to do so.
karpar 1 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Ya, it does come with an ad-blocker, I just disable NIS before clicking on the banner...the ad-blocker is useful with other sites!
Arun 795 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Arun today i clicked on baazee link from my LG RD2030 R-surf browser will that click be counted as the unique click and make u rich by Rs.1.50. enquire about it let me know? Hmmm... individual clicks can't be monitored, I think it wont be counted as they place a cookie to track clicks. Also, I'm not sure when the total income earned will shown. Its still at 0.00, when I enquired at Baazee, they said it would be automatically by the month end. Not sure when the month end is, anyway will see 30 days after the day of signing up.
Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted September 11, 2004 Arun the total income will be zero till 30 days.. Try clicking on a link called "Today" you see to the left, in the same page.. It will give you the updates till today.. There you can see the total click till date..

Chirag 5 Report post Posted September 27, 2004 banner ad program of google is also good.... moderators can try it... 14636[/snapback] Wht is it like? Can u provide us a Link to details?
Beetle 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2004 Chiraag I think he is referring to Google ad sense. It would not make any sense to put Google ad sense here on Rimweb.com as you will get non sense ads like CDMA software, or some Cdma phones or rarely reliance petrochemicals. Do you think cliks on these would pay. Google only passes on a fixed percentage of what they get to the web publisher. Google will not get much from these sites. Maybe if this forum was on makeup/fashion etc. google ads may have links to Loreal or Lakme and other companies. These companies will be ready to pay more to google and Arun might earn as much as 4-5dollars per clik...!!
