theideasguy 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 Hi guys I am new to this forum... and have been searching to answers to my problem in vain... i have an lg lsp-340E phone and was using r-connect to connect to the internet in windows 2000 (directly using the serial cable) I recently bought a new IBM laptop which has only USB ports. So i bought a USB to serial convertor with drivers and it installed OK. Then when i try to install the R-Connect, the phone is detected at com2 serail port but the modem installation fails.... I am at a total loss and completely frustrated ... please help!!!!!!!!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jayant 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 I too had this problem in the past but just using some other cd to install the modem solved my problem.
