ACS 130 Report post Posted December 20, 2008 Good this sub forum has been startedHeard from one of my friends in M.P Sim with new no for Rs.250 local calls at Rs.0.50,Std Rs.1 Sounds like an inbuilt LT Jaadu pack 550. But unlike Prepaid CDMa LT Jaadu - Will these tariffs rates really last? As we all know what constant fluctuations happen in Prepaid..

srk006 21 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 ^^ yes 28th is mere speculation but there was an official communication some time back that GSM will be launched in some 200 towns towards the end of the year.
Honest 836 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 I don't think that Reliance will further shift the date of launch. Their are strong chances that Reliance GSM will be launched on 28th Dec. 2008.
Sadikk 301 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 yes it will launch on said date as its DHIRUBHAIs Bday.

vmsanghrajka 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 I would say high hopes.. I dont think it will be even close to what it was when they rolled out CDMA services.. It wont be a full blown launch, rather i think it would be phase by phase and circle by circle schemes..
vvinayakpai 26 Report post Posted December 23, 2008 I would say high hopes.. I dont think it will be even close to what it was when they rolled out CDMA services.. It wont be a full blown launch, rather i think it would be phase by phase and circle by circle schemes.. I wouldnt expect an out of the bag launch. It might be an ordinary launch and even if it is a launch with some wonderful offers being thrown across the board, like free talktime etc, I am sure it will be fizzled out soon. This I say because the company is already deep pressure regarding the falling ARPU. And also the stock price of RCOM has corrected around 71% wheras the other heavy weight like Airtel has corrected only 25%. RCOM is under tremondous pressure for various reasons like unhedged loans, Vigilance enquiries etc. I am dead sure they would not want to compromise on their operating cash flows might by introducing "extraordinary" offers. Moreover, the company needs cash for the 3G rollout. Latest heard from sources, it is very unlikely that the company might bid for 3G licenses on a pan India basis and might restrict itself to the top 5-6 circles. Also, the company has to have cash for the CDMA as well as the GSM 3G rollout whereas a company like Airtel has to only provide for the GSM 3G launch. KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted December 23, 2008 ^^^ Yes it will be a low key affair with average offers only. But not too sure about 28Dec dates though. Last time I called up 1800 100 3333 a couple of days back, they said they want to surprise people with the launch date!!! Wonder what that means - will it be Dec28 this year or the next year or the year after????? Maybe this is the kind of surprise they would have thought of. Lets wait and watch as ever.....
