Net Gets Disconnected With Error Code 1722: the pc Server Unavailable

hello everybody

iam usin ec121 data card frm reliance .iam experiencing a slow net connection of only 153kpbs

and my download speed is only 4Kpbs and y frnd in the same area has a speed upto 17Kpbs for download is that a problem with this modem model or what?

The net stops sending or receiving data in the middle of the connection and if i try to disconnect the net wit the MOBILE PARTNER it dsplays an error message with the error code 1722:THE RPC SERVER UNAVILABLE.

HELP ME WITH THESE PROBLEMS PLZ

With regards to speed.. try in any other location to get a complete picture..

not sure about this issue but get ur self better internet connection.

Do not rely on R-Connect, its pathetic, my personal experience.

Ok, got some information on this....seems to have solved my problem ....(but try this at u'r own risk)

Start/Run the command called regedit.exe (Registry editor).

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetBT\Parameters

and on the right side,double-click TransportBindName - press delete and give it an empty

value. That will close port 445.

Also, go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OLE and change the value of

EnableDCOM from Y to the value N - that will close port 135.

and as for the speeds, i think it's ok for me for checking emails & surfing while on the move...not that great for downloading...for that i have MTNL broadband...
