ACS 130 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 It will be launched in bangalore tentatively on 10th Jan 08. But i think this is still their testing phase as it happened during DAPO when ppl were given unlimited All Inida calling Free for the initial few weeks.. Its to check their infrastructure & its capability to handle congestion at an all India Level. They are therefore intentionally only having Prepaid as Postpaid customers (i.e. especially corporates) cannot tolerate non-sense & will churn without thinking as its a new connection. But they do not have any information regarding the launch. They told me that the stock has arrived but they are not authorized to sell it as yet. That is RELIANCE!!!!!!!!!!! I feel they are delaying things just a little too much. So much so that my excitemen is being changed to frustration First they were creating a hype about the commercial launch and now they are not interested to sell their products!!!!!! Hopefully the service quality will be better even though I have no great hopes from Reliance from the customer service point of view

ipkonfig 10 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 I had gone to pay my mobile bill in the WW in here (Vazhuthacad). When enquired about Reliance GSM sims, they were of the opinion that sims will be distributed only after Jan 15th. When i asked them about the CEP sims, they said yes, those sims are available, but they are currently given to top Reliance employees only. I was wondering that all over India the normal people are getting access to CEP sims, but in here only the high rated employees get to taste it.
