kshah 452 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Please help me guys. My friend wants to obtain BB services on Imate Kjam right now and later on HTC TOUCH PRO. He is using AIrtel connetion. Airtel guys say, they do not support either of these models hence they can not help for set up. AS suggested by hetal he has downloaded BB connect software. I am asking this, because I have not seen BB connect software and when he ask me, I should be able to guide him. Thanks in advance to you all.
ACS 130 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 First of all he should ask Airtel if it supports that handset, as they might have some limitations. In case it does, Airtel CC should be able to guide him. This Airtel connect sounds like a 'Net-connect' software for browsing on the PC.
kshah 452 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 what sort of limitation? They say it is supported on some of WM handsets. Anyway, will call them too - again.
ACS 130 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) what sort of limitation? They say it is supported on some of WM handsets. Anyway, will call them too - again. I don't know about the recent times but earlier i have seen them publishing brochures which said - "BB services on non-BB phones". They had specifically inserted photos of 10-12 different Sony/Nokia phones which were Airtel BB compatible at that time. Maybe they had some specific interest with Sony, Nokia earlier. I guess if Airtel CC can't help, then our techies only can help you find a '3rd alternative'. Edited January 3, 2009 by ACS
