savramesh 37 Report post Posted January 7, 2009 i was being complaining reliance about my coverage pblm in and around my house for years, but so far there was no proper response from them.. around one year back i was assured to get good coverage once gsm towers are up. since i didnt find any progress even after gsm installation, few days back i sent a mail to reliance and copy to charman office, nodal officer and appellate authority.. my mail as follows ------------------------------ This is a very bad response i have ever faced.. I am still facing call dropping or fading problem in and around my house. I was assured that the cdma coverage in my area will be improved once GSM towers are implemented as tower will share both cdma and gsm antennas. Now GSM is up and there is no progress in CDMA coverage here. Many of my calls are being faded and there is no value for my money.. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR SERVICE IN MY AREA AND RESPONSE TO MY ISSUES.. ----------------------------- just few minutes back i received a call from reliance tech team, and tehy said they are on the way to my home to check the coverage. let me hope atleast this time they will do something good for me.. as i have a gsm tower near my area.. savramesh 37 Report post Posted January 7, 2009 they just came, measured coverage using some instruments, also noted the gps location.. after review they said they will try to improve coverage with the current cdma infrastructure.. if that fails then they will recommend mumbai to install cdma antenna in the nearby gsm tower.. so i feel little happy now.. lets see how they responds in taking further actions.. Good luck. Same thing happened to me. But since I had more connections(13), they installed an internal antenna in my place and super coverage. Something called IBS installation which is done by them freely if connections are more. However, we had to remove it as it needs a UPS else keeps re-cycling. For More than 30 Connections if the Revenue from 30 Connections allows them to install IBS, They install FOC.
