No Wifi???

How can they remove it. As we would not see 3G for whole 2009 or 2010 Wifi can be a life saver for PDAs

this has always been marketing gimmick by blackberry ....they put wifi and remove gps ...they give gps and remove wifi

well bb bold has both wifi and gps and i think they must have removed wifi from storm so as not to hamper the sales of their bb bold....

i m yet to see a convergent device from blackberry

^^^

they have to show some sales and profits, so one model after another will have some feature or the other left out always.... all are the same be they SE or Nokia or HTC or Palm or anything else... Only if we share our knowledge here, we will not fall into their traps and buy crap phones....

nowadays most mid to hi range nokia handsets come with wifi ...also htc handsets

leaving out wifi is of no sense to me for a country like ours where the 3G is not there and BIS are also expensive ...

Go the Nokia way! They do not leave out anything from their flagships phones (oh yeah except maybe a Xenon Flash). Even the Nokia TOuch (5800) has everything you can think off.

Blackberry Storm launched by vodafone in India for Rs. 27990

BlackBerry Storm available in India starting January 15

Although Indian mobile users have probably hoped for this to happen in 2008, it’s only today that RIM and Vodafone Essar have announced the release of BlackBerry Storm 9500 in India.

Already on sale in North America and across Europe, the Storm is RIM’s first smartphone to lack a physical QWERTY keyboard and to have a touchscreen display. And it’s no ordinary touchscreen display, but a large 360 x 480 pixels clickable one that ensures an intuitive navigation.

Save for the physical keyboard, the smartphone has almost all the features you’d expect to find in a BlackBerry handset.

These include:

GPS

BlackBerry Maps

Full HTML browser

Email

Document editor

A 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and flash

A 3.5mm headset jack

1GB of internal memory

MicroSD card support, up to 16GB

BlackBerry Storm will be available starting January 15, exclusively via Vodafone Essar, for the price of Rs. 27,990 ($580).
