Unregistered SIM problem

Recommended Posts

I have bought a SIM under CEP in mumbai. It worked for 2 days & suddenly it shows unregistered SIM. I have asked the retailer and also been to R.World.But no one has no clue what to do?The R care fellows are so stupid that they even donot know what step to follow to retain the no. My retailer gave me another card, that also showing no network . I donot know what to say about their pathetic & horrible service. Please give me any solution. God save Reliance Communication.

This occurs when number is not activated in the network.

possible reasons:

CAF not loaded in system

OTAF not done etc.

@ Rworld

I was able to receive & make calls for 1 week. But the CAF is also not loaded in system. Only my name has been updated as per customer Care.

I went to Web World. They told me every thing is fine regarding document. Accounts activeted. When i asked what they do in case of this type of problem "Un registered SIM" arises in CDMA , they said they would change my SIM.But for gsm they donot know the procedure neither they have the blank SIM for number replacement. What an Answer!

As usual brilliant answers and services by RCOM. IMHO, people will definitely not touch RCOM for either GSM or CDMA if they make up such stupid services. Do they expect the customer to visit them hundreds of times to get a SIM activated? They should have thought properly before launching services. This is what happens when you have a foreign highly educated person at the top???

I have recently purchased reliance GSM card for Rs. 100. After a week or so, the sim card stopped working and the daily balance of Rs. 10 free usage is not available. When contacted the retailer, he said that the document have to be resubmitted..After doing that, I am now told that there is some problem in activating the simcard...its been more than two weeks, but there hasn't been any progress. I am really fed up and want something to be done. Am really upset with the quality of service of Reliance and am forced to spread a bad word of mouth..I expect something to be done immediately..

In GSM OTAF is not being done, Rather all Sims are Pre-Provisioned.
