city02 63 Report post Posted September 8, 2004 Reliance Group has emerged as India's 'Most Admired Business House' for the fourth consecutive year in the 'Business Barons - TNS Mode Opinion Poll' for 2004.The Group won all three categories - most admired company, business house and the Chief Executive. The Group topped the 'Most Admired Business House' list with an overall indexed score of 40. Marking a winning streak, Reliance Group's flagship company, Reliance Industries Limited took the coveted top spot, emerging as the country's 'Most Admired Company'. Reliance Industries stood first in the poll on criteria like financial performance, returns to shareholders, growth prospects and ethics, and second on the parameter of management quality. Following Reliance Industries, two other Reliance Group companies featured in this year's prestigious list of India's most admired companies. Reliance Infocomm ranked at 32 and Reliance Energy ranked at 53. In the TNS Mode survey of India's Most Admired CEOs, Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Vice Chairman Anil Ambani ranked in the Top 5 in the list. The Ambani brothers are the only two CEOs from one business group to feature amongst India's top five Most Admired CEOs. Anil Ambani topped the charts at number one.
