Unbricking Your Dead/bricked Nokia Phone

well just recently i had i bad experince with nokia 5800...i tried to play with python and other scrpits and in turn bricked the handset ....my phone froze and stopped responding .none of the resets worked

i was even unable to flash it thru nokia software updater .finally i resorted to flashing the phone using nokia service tool PHOENIX .

this procedure will work for any nokia phone which is bricked or which need to be flashed with a firmware

also most of the new firmwares which are released are first released for european versions and after several mnths released for indian versions ...one can even use phoenix to change product codes in new phones since nemesis service suite doesnt support new bb5 phones

first u need to download the following softwares

PHONEIX TOOL 2008

FIRMWARE FILE

u can get the firmware files for any nokia phone from here

before installing PHOENIX unsinstall nokia pc suite /connectivity drivers and everything completely . make sure all files are deleted .

or best do it on a pc which never had nokia pc suite installed

now check the dead phone usb flashing option and click refurbish and wait

FINALLY YOUR PHONE WILL BE REVIVED

NO NEED TO GO TO NOKIA CARE

same procedure can be used to upgrade a nokia phone with firmware of your choice or to those firmwares which have not yet been released for your region

as long as u have the firmware file any model could be flashed

infact it is used by nokia with special cables to even downgrade firmwares

it was done on hp compaq laptop.which dint have nokia pc suite installed

Hey! Just saying thanks for the program. My nokia navigator 6110 suicided on me wen i was updating it. Its kinda working. Just that i'm stuck at the last step.

It says that neither DP1.0 or DP2.0 was found for the product, or that the product cannot be identifyed. Only auto-detect is available.

What do i do? i need to use my phone urgently

IN ADDITION! i cant find the phone on step 6. I downloaded the firmware. its called RM-122. Btw im a noob at this :S so i would appreciate every help that i can get.
