Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 I was thinking what do they do with all those old handsets... Bcz once when we asked abt our phone which we surrendered when we quit one DAPO, the reliance executive said, those phones are kept with them for future if we reconnect and that they arent used by anyone.. Now i know how its being used

Sanay 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2004 Hey Guys, On inquiry with WW, they sais that only LG2030 are available refurbished. But other B/W models are sometimes(depending on stocks) available in seconds state. i.e. non-refurbished or reconditioned but with new mobile no. programmed. They are sold as cheap as 1200-1300 in quantity basis to RIM retail outlets.

Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted September 12, 2004 Quote Check handset carefully before u buy. some fellows like me hv done engineering on them. YAH! Very true. I also did some engineering on my LG-RD2030 handset. Now I don't have it. I transfered it to other. But 2 times its PCB card was changed due to BITPIM cauz i deleted some files that i should not. And once i opened the cover of it and accidentlly i breaked the speaker wire. But I pasted it some how. So pls check the handset very carefully before buying.
