Trouble Playing Ctracer

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am using Reliance Datacard for the past 1 year.

I used to play CTRacer the online racing game. But from the past 2 days i am not been able to play..becoz its giving an error message "Failed to connect to the Game".

I contacted the concerend game people and they said the server is running fine and all r connected and playing. I tried with my bsnl mobile connection and i could connect to it and play. I am facing this problem with Reliance only.

When i contacted the reliance customer care they said they cant do anything and its the game server problem. They are behaving as if they dont want me as a customer. The CTRacer game is being played in china and korea also. So i tried logging to that. there also same error message came. So what does it mean???. It means the problem is with the reliance only and they are not ready to solve the issuse..they are just blaming others.

I am not sure but i have noticed a thing that my IP address has changed. Now when i connect to internet, i am assigned an IP address starting from 115.241.*.*. and subnet mask 255.255.255.255.As far as my knowledge goes this subnetmask is invalid. Subnet Mask cant be 255.255.255.255

Previously i was given IP address in the range 220.216.*.* For more than one year i was having this rang of IP address. At that time there was having no issue playing this game. Now they have changed something and the problem started.

And they are not ready to solve this. What should i do???

Who will help me?. Or is it means i have to throw away my Relaince connection..

Please help me..

It could be either:

* The port is blocked

* Network route problem

Contact the game provider and ask them:

1) whether the software connects through any particular port? If yes, what is the port number?

2) As for the hostname/IP to which the software is connecting so that you can run a trace route command from your PC to check network route.

Hi!!

I am from delhi and i am facing the same problem not with game but with ip changes from 220.*.*.* to 115.*.*.*

I don't know it's temp or permanent but all my request are traveling through this ip 115.240.255.254.

so when ever you try to play this game your ip will always be 115.240.255.254 or check your real ip whatismyip.com it will remain same i think even if you get local ip different

so may be speed is slow which it is with this server or website may have ip specific limitation... as you r hitting it with same ip again n again..

Hi

I have tried everything to get the problem solved.

But its still not solved. With my mobile phone (bsnl gprs )connection i am able to play. But its too slow and playing this game with that gprs connection is very dificult. But this proves that slow connection is not the issue here,neither there is any problem with the game or my computer.

I contacted the game people.

@arun

The port the game is using is 42001 and i have checked that with telnet and the port is open.

The ip to which the game is connecting is 202.87.51.184. I got this from game support guys. I have done tracert and ping commands which i am attaching below. The reliance customer care people are not listening to me. They are saying dont call then 4 this issue again.

Please help me solve this.

As you can see in the trace route result there are several time outs. Send them (Reliance) with the trace route result and ask them for an explanation on why there are time outs in between.

But where to send. They are not attending my calls.

They are saying as there is no website address involved in this they cant help. When i said i can give u the ip address they are saying "its not their job to solve issues relating to IP address." They are talking as if they are fools.

To which email ID i have to send this.

1) support.datacard (at) relianceada.com

2) CC to corporatecentre.customercare (at) relianceada.com

3) CC to your nodal officer. Looks like you are from AP, so: Rcomnodalofficer.AP (at) relianceada.com

Make sure that you quote the existing complaint numbers when you send the email and explain your issue clearly in the email.
