I am told the reliance has locked this feature by bb support team.... GPS is independent of network one is on... so GPS chip set should be able to gather data provided by sat. Looks like unlocking the phone might do the trick (if what they are saying i.e its locked by reliance). I am on rel and intend to use rel so unlocking should not cause harm right??? nawalsingal 1 Report post Posted February 21, 2009 Have u subscribed to BIS/BES?, if yes, load Google maps on to your mobile. works well. Will be solution to your gps issues. ( will work only if ur device supports GPs though. I've no idea of feature list of 8330. though it's working on my friend's 8830 we with BIS plan. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
