Time To Throw The Rim Phone !

Hello friends

yesterday i had log in yahoo messenger through one of my friends' nokia tata indicome mobile . its works pretty and my friend is today chatting with me for last hour through his tata indicom.its all absoulutely free for tata indicom. I thinks rim is only making all of us fool. there is t zone against r world which is more good thatn this stupid r world. I had already sole my postpaid rim after converting it into prepaid and now using one friend's colour RD 7130 free of cost. !!! but very soon i will throw this stupid phone too into some garbage and will choose tata or some other gsm like hutch atleast i can chat through that . i loves yahoo !!!! rather then this worst rim.

None of these pioneers are gonna give you anything free..

They put up a attractive offer, keeping something in mind.

Tat would be a very large surprise once you are trapped with them :P

Nope My dear friends,

Tata is more trusted brand name then this stupid one !! believe me i have both the mobile tata and rim . for the last year and till date i have no single question or problem with tata while this rim was proved a headech for me !!! tell me franckly whats there in R world ? games ? are we kids ?,news ? nothing special in any news?asro ? who will like to see the old story again and again ? if you can't open yahoo or hotmail on r world then its all like ZERO without a figure !!!! if tata can offer yahoo on tata indicom free of cost then why rim can't do that ? even for initial offer too !!! most of us are readdy to pay for this yahoo and hotmail !!!!

Actually rim is only interested to keep happy some kids by providing new and new games !!!!! even most of sites can't open on rim while they all can be opened in tata indicom.

Check out mouthshut and you will find reviews full of complaints about both reliance and Tata, I feel all service providers are almost at par, the only problem is that Reliance promises so much but delivers less. I have RIM for the last year and a half, and DAPO, I dont think any other service will give me roaming at such cheap rates and of course free SMS is a big plus, all others will give this as an introductory offer only.

Other things besides, RIM should really do something about Yahoo messenger access ...and of course mail access! Thats the spirit of R-World!

I rarely check mail on my RIM ...today I did and was pleasently surprised to find "BSNL" listed there! Wow ...now I can check my Sancharnet mail account there (I ditched the awfully slow VSNL 4 months back)! Didnt quite expect that they would list BSNL there as yet... :)

They have also added mail accounts of other ISPs, it seems...

Yes, they have increased their bouqet of ISPs.

But they really should be providing Y!M access! RIM is the only service provider that doesn't do it.

When u compare the two, recollect the subscriber bases! 80 million to how many in TATA??

If u have 90% CDMA subscribers with RIM, and jus 10 % with TATA, whose noise will be most heard?? Obviously a slight billing problem in RIM will be heard 9 times more than that of TATA.

And thts whts been happening with every simple issue in RIM! By the way, y dont u see a TATA Forum by now?? :D

hey if u wan throw hat phone give it to me ...

And talking abt tata.... just see the rate wht they cahrged in postpaid for sending sms , ringtone, and stuff. it will be same after 14th nov. fro prepaid. it will show the true ight. and they r goign to charge the same amout fro sms and stuff....... so Rim always offer the best value fro money..........

its true, in landline, tata's service was supposed to be the best. but as they are increasing their subscriber base, people have started complaning about their services too. they dont fix the problems even after 10-10 complains. they keep on hold for 15 mins to give the complain no. till that time your phone gets disconnected for long idelness. so you've to call again and repeat the same frustrating story to the new CS person.

my fwt wll landline at home was not working for a week. everyday i use to listen, 'within 24hours your work will be done'. that 24 hours didnt come for a week. atlast, a reliance wll landline service person told me to switch off the FWT device, and switch it on again. i did that and my phone started working. for such a small problem, they've harrased me like anything. they could have solved this problem on phone itself. but the dumb CS persons dont even have this much knowledge. moreso, whenever i use to make the complaint, they use to tell me to pay the bill, the bill due date was after 10 days. i shouted several times on them , that why the hell u want me to pay the bill, when i am making the complaint, first solve the prpblem, then ask for the bill. i told them to see my past record, they didnt even find a single late payment. still such behaviour. simply frustrating.

one more problem occured 3-4 months back, when my phone got changed from cdma landline to wll landline. suddenly i got the bill of plan 1000. while iwas in the plan 500. they told me to pay the bill and the amount will be adjusted in the next months bill amout. that next month is yet to come. im complaning every month about this. that balance amount is never getting credited in my current bill.

when is reliance's landline coming, i want to get rid of this tata ****.

so problem is with everyone who grows. its impossible to 100% satisfy a customer.

infact nobody can do that on this earth. thats for sure, no matter who they are and where they are.

I can't agree with this argument. when some one is doing a business he can't escape from his liability or responsibility to provide ultimate custormer sastisfaction by quoting that we have a wide subecriber base.

for last 10 days i sent sms to my friend on his hutch and tata indicom mobile. i found the messege on my rim screen that messege successfully sent but i didn't get the delivery ack. and my freind told me that he didnt get any sms from me. belive me he was stood near to me and we have tried and agian it happens. then he sent sms to my rim from his hutch phone and i got his sms instantly.it means rim is not delivering our sms to any other mobile service.ofcoure I bet that they are charging all this sms wether they were deliver or not !! I can send sms only from rim to rim and that too after 2-3 times first it will say sorry network errorr !! then it will say messege not delivered then 3rd try it will say messege sent successfully and it will be a wonderful for me that i got delivery ack. for 3 times for the same messege. it means they are charging 2-3 times for the same messege.what it all means ? is it a fair practice of doing business ?

I thinks they have sufferred a big loss in their 501 scheme and their huge amount has been blocked and also suffered loss in converting postpaid to prepaid by paying just 10% and now they are recovering all this loss by this way !!!!

mkr, to my knowledge thsese are software/network bugs, and more or less they exist in all operators, in some or the other form.

mkr as for Ur sms being not sent in first instance it is a handet bug lmited to certain LG handsets only.

cool.. So go ahead and get urself a TATA and hope to see a review of TATA from u on this thread then! I jus hope tht its not as painful as ur RIM review ;)

I dont really care wht u have, TATA or RIM! :D How does it matter to me? Neither of them pay me to write good abt them!!

there is no forum of tata users, else we all would have come to know the pains of tata users too.

so after looking at poor tata users, some of the unsatisfied rim users would realise how rim is better than tata.

Even if there wud be one, there is not much scope for it to grow! Out of the total Subscriber base of TATA, if 1% is to be taken to have access to Internet, acc to Statistics... and out of which assuming jus .01% posting at the forum(what we see at RIMWEB.com) then its hardly any no. And hence a TATA Forum cannot be a success Story really.

Anyways, we can encourage individuals to build one and we can link that to our forum like we did for GSM Users! Any takers? ;)
