Himanshu Singh 19 Report post Posted February 24, 2009 (edited) Rs 500 taken at the time of activation, will be refunded to the customer @ Rs 100/month (adjusted against his usage), wef his 4th bill, for a period of 5 months. The refund would be a maximum amount of Rs. 100/- per month from 4th month till 8th month only. In case in a particular month, the usage is less than Rs. 100/-, the amount of his usage will be discounted and the balance amount, if any, will not be refunded in subsequent months. This amount will reflect as a activation fee refund on the bill. In case there is no usage in a particular month, customer will not be entitled to discount in that particular month. This is an activation amount and cannot be refunded unless customer continues to be on our network till his 8th bill is generated. There is no separate security deposit amount that the customer needs to pay. This is a welcome move by Airtel. It offers a postpaid connection virtually free of cost making it more attractive.I hope others take a cue from Airtel.
