dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted March 6, 2009 Yes, I think it is Re.1; only then it will work out to 50p per minute which they are advertising which so much pomp and show; but disappointing that std calls to cellular are still Re.1/min.

KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted March 6, 2009 I think it is a fairly good initiative by BSNL. One can call any STD fixed landline (incldg. BSNL and non-BSNL) at Re 1 for 120 secs. However BSNL Mobiles and Other mobiles will still be charged Re 1 per 60 secs. They could have given all ONNET calls at 120 secs instead of 60 secs. Now it is cheaper to call a STD RCOM FWP from a BSNL LL. (Re 1 for 120 secs) as against the Rs 1.20 per 60 secs charged by RCOM under Local 299 plan. It will take RCOM atleast 3 months to grasp the changes in tariffs by BSNL as per previous experiences over the last 6 years.
