Gprs/edge In Reliance Cdma Network?

Does reliance cdma network support GPRS/EDGE?

I had tried a remote access java application (tsmobiles) in June 2008. It didn't work.

The docs said the network had to support GPRS/EDGE and the operator should have provided it to the user.

Then around December 2008, I found it had started working.

Now since 4-Mar-09, it stopped working.

So, does reliance cdma network offer GPRS/EDGE and if so, are they just trying it out on random/trial basis?

GPRS/EDGE is a GSM technology. So CDMA phones doesn't support GPRS/EDGE. Maybe it used NetConnect earlier when it was working for you.

starting the above said date reliance blocked browsing for those have not subscribed for rworld data plan..

No he may have used WAP on R-CDMA. Till 3 Mar'09, WAP was working, now it has been blocked by RCOM.

WAP is working for me without any RWORLD Surfing Plan.

Yeah guys Wap was closed by Reliance on friday and some parts of saturday, but it has been working now for the past 24 hrs. and being on L1 plan it is completely free of cost also for me, without subscriptions to a data plan. Now for some means to surf without paying.
