me_saket 73 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 BSNL launches Blackberry, Live Tutor, Wimax services source: economic times The BSNL on Saturday launched three services-Blackberry service, Live Tutor, and wimax in Krishna district. Speaking on the occassion, BSNL Krishna district region General Manager M John Kristostam explained the features of the services. He said Blackberry is a hand-held mobile phone which allows you to go to instant e-mail service. The access to e-mail service is available while roaming nationally and internationally in select locations, he added. Referring to Live Tutor, he said that the concept was to provide online learing from kindergarten to 12th standard. To have this facility in the phone, "you require broadband connection, personal computer, and videophone," he added. Referring to Wimax service, he said that under the service all internet facilites offered on the move with unlimited access. He said that 53 locations were identified for 3G service in Krishna district, out of it, 43 places were selected in the city. Remaining would be selected in taluk headquarters, he said.
