Bluetooth Headset With Non-bluetooth Mobile

Recommended Posts

Hi,

like we all listen & talk with wired headsets by plugging them into handset, Is not there any way by which we can use a bluetooth headset with a non-bluetooth mobile. We can have some bluetooth adapters which can be inserted in the headphone scoket to pair with the bluetooth handset? and yes, it is only viable if the adapter is cheaper than a bluetooth enabled handset.

Is it possible? I am just curious to know since you all are guru, and who better than you can answer this.

the phone board or chip should support bluetooth technology/process. using a bluetooth adaptor its NOT possible to make it work..

yes it is very much possible ...

there are stereo bluetooth adapters available .

i had found few on amazon .

i think even jabra has one but not sure

the bluetooth adapters come with a 3.5 mm jack ..they can be plugged to any device ..ipod/mp3/phones with 3.5mm connection possible ..

what it does is that the adapter recives the sound signal from device and then streams over bluetooth to bluetooth headset ....

the adapter seems to be supportive for 3.5mm jack. and all mobile with 3.5 mm jack will definitely have bluetooth. should know if these adapters supports 2.5 mm jack..
