In Airtel and for that matter any GSM operators can activate loads of facilities by network service commands (dialed as *CODE#) On airtel I can pay even bill using SMS / mCheck. I think CDMA networks do not support service commands.

kshah 452 Report post Posted April 11, 2009 ^^^ True, rcom may be superior in time of activation as they might have very small subscriber base. Lets hope it remains so for longer. Else rcom GSM has not offered any thing new. Their GPRS is 2.5 times expensive than other GSM player.

Rcom network is not suitable for indoor use.... Due to network GPRS also work slow and sometime doesn't work at all......... It's hope for the best from reliance.........
