Can I convert my postpaid BSNL Mobile Postpaid connection to a prepaid connection or vice versa? No. At present it is not possible to convert your postpaid connection to prepaid connection or vice versa. Both the SIMs are not changeable. Any one have experience of doing this? Nope.. I guess the site may not be updated.. Post to pre conversion is now possible in BSNL as well.. But AFAIK, to get the security amount you deposited for Postpaid, it will take you 4-6 months, but the number will be converted to prepaid immediately with some charges. I am yet to get my deposit refunded for my Vodafone connection which was converted in Nov 08. So I can imagine what 'll happen with BSNL!
