Fax From Laptop

I need to send fax from my Laptop to office.

I am using BSNL broadband and connecting to internet over wifi modem.

Can I send fax over internet?

Fax over Internet requires a Fax Server, which I think is still not available in India, though I am not sure enough.

But I will suggest u to send fax through a normal modem. U can use Windows Fax & Scan which is available with Vista.

Otherwise u can try Winfax, it is one of the best fax software.

It is possible to send the fax over Internet.

As you access your boradband through WiFi probably your laptop do not have physical access to the phone line. Moreover almost all laptops come with built-in modem for dial up connection, you can use Windows Fax Utility (assuming you are using Windows 98 SE or above) if you have a physical link to the phone line. You can send fax through your computer while browsing.
