Sony Ericsson - Nokia Battery Comparison

Recommended Posts

i recently saw the battery specification of sony ericsson c510.

Standard Li-Ion battery [Li - Polymer], 930 mAh

10 hours (600 mins) of Talk time

could not believe 10 hrs of talk time for 930 mAh, is these battery types different from nokia ??

On gsm its pretty much possible. every one uses same type i.e. Li-Ion batteries. Difference in talk time is mainly due to chipsets and software. My experience is that nokia has best power management. very few nokia has battery problems. Usually phone has more than 18 sections for power management.

SE too has good battery life but not as much as nokia.

battery usage also depends on os

smartphones are usually power hungry phones and dont give u such hrs of talktime ...

from my experience 930/950 mah is is good enough for a dummy non smartphone ....

but if u put in the same capacity battery in smartphone it wudnt give u that many hrs .
