ssr 10 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 For me get took my phone at morning 10:00 and returned at evening 5:00 and the reason given by the service center percen is that firmware overwriting will take lot of time that too they are having lot of phones for reburning I think It should not take more than 5 minits to reburn the firmware on RD2130 since i think firmware is around 1 to 2MB and I red some where in this site only about a person who got his handset after reburning with in 10 minits and with a scrach on it any more same kind experience with service centers regarding reburning? Chirag 5 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 nonsense! Service Center guys are falling short of Manpower and lack of more Centers! I've got my Phone Reburned at several occassions in mumbai.. StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 it always depends... dunno much abt flash ROMS but i know that FLASH Roms erase faster than conventional EEPROMS which take, 15-20 mins to erase, and approx. same time to re-write. so go figure...
