chandramauli 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 it all depends on BSNL actually Reliance has no reason for not allowing its user to send sms to bsnl ...but bsnl might have some reason to bar incoming n outgoing sms reliance they (bsnl) are a jealous lot !!! Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 Its not true. I've a BSNL pre-paid card. when i send a SMS to reliance, it is sent by BSNL but doesnt reached on Reliance. So its a Reliance fault.

karpar 1 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 The same way, when we send a message to BSNL users, it shows that the message is sent too...so it can't be Reliance's fault either... Actually, I was wondering if the Inter-Operablility Agreements will change any after the no. change...

nagpai 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 Messages are going to all the GSM operators but MTNL. Government firms like MTNL have no better business but to retard technology just to guard the vested interests of their own lethargic employees. The statement also remains true for BSNL. They will go to any unfair extent to stop the more competent private players.
Beetle 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 My experience is simple, instead of delivery reports I get "Message Deposited" and another sms saying "Dear Reliance user due to technical difficulty on the side of BSNL we are unable to deliver your sms" and the from no. is a BSNL no., the no. I tried sending the sms in the first place.
