mehulbpandya 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2009 Hi All, I upgraded to WM6.1 on my mogul with latest ROM. However, I am unable to use GPS. In fact, it has never worked so far...... I tried on Google Map, but it is unable to lock satellite. Various GPS settings are also in accordance with some of the posts that I went through. However, all in vain. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted May 5, 2009 No, I think your problem is that your GPS is not enabled by default. You will have to use QPST service programming and enable the GPSOne Tab and all settings under it as per dummies guide... only then will your GPS start working even if you are using original Sprint 6.1 rom... Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted May 5, 2009 sprint official rom windows 6.1 has gps one chip already enabled ... people all around other forums have got gps by simply updating rom without gps one programming ... the thing is that it takes time to get lock at times in my case sometimes i dont get a lock at all even if i m in open ...and sometimes i do get lockin few secs ...thats y i stopped using gps in mogul . u can try to reprogramme gps one tab ... u will get lock whether u programme in qpst or not ...just keep trying . and remember one thing it will take vey long time for first lock . also in my case a very starge thing had happened when i used mogul first time i was getting gps lock indoors in 2-3 secs ... but when i changed my prl all of sudden i wasnt getting any lock for few days ... now i take around 5mins on average to get lock Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
